The
Montebuono “Borgo S.Andrea” Horse Centre is located in the
Municipality of Montebuono (Ri), a lovely small village in
the Sabina country, dipped in an evocative scene of olive
groves and gentle valleys, along the “Sabina D.o.p. Extra
Virgin Olive Oil way”, easy to reach by the highway.

In our Centre prevails the pleasure to know the natural
beauties, the culture and the ancient traditions of the
Sabina region, rich of simple and deep values.
It takes only 50 minutes from Rome and its monuments and you
can live moments of freedom in tune with the nature and with
the horses, discovering ancient flavours of the wholesome
products of our country.
Turning your eyes on the typical olive groves of the zone,
you can revive the past of our ancestors and delight the
artistic heritage that gives a particular charm to the
surrounding nature. The Farfa’s Cathedral with its
characteristic village, The sanctuary of Santa Maria in
Vescovio, and the monumental Romanesque churches are only
some magic proves of it.

Riding
horses in this environmental harmony, it’s easy to arouse
new vital energies and to acquire smoothness and confidence
in body and soul discovering the ancient roots of our
future.
Ancient paths passing through old farms and mule tracks
connecting small villages will offer you horse riding to
panoramic tops or through the verdant hills of the Sabina
country.
You can climb the Fiolo mountain, towards Vacone and
Rocchette, and than go forward big greens of Stroncone, on
the border of Umbria Region.
Peaceful country road come downhill towards the green plain
where is located the Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Vescovio.
More demanding but very attractive is the horse riding on
the Terminillo mountain, through the Fonte Cerro wood.
You cannot miss the lovely horse riding trough the peaceful
Tevere valley: following the river you can reach the border
of Rome.
